Nobody should give up this wonderful dessert from Italy and nobody has to! Thanks to coconut cream and soy milk, it is free of lactose and animal ingredients, but full of flavor: Una Panna Cotta per tutti!
400 g coconut cream
100 ml soy milk
1 orange, the juice
2 teaspoons of agar-agar powder
50 g brown sugar
For the topping
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
Crème brulée or Panna Cotta molds
Stir in a pot of soy milk, coconut cream and sugar over low heat. When it starts to boil, add orange juice and agar-agar powder. Stir for 1 minute, then switch off the stove and set aside.
Peel and halve orange for the topping. Press the juice from one half and cut the other into pieces. Fry the orange pieces in a pan over low heat, add juice and sugar after about 1 minute. Stir as long as the orange juice evaporates, the liquid is caramelized.
Put a spoonful of the topping in the molds, a few pieces of orange and the panna cotta. Put in the fridge for about 2 hours. Then fall on a plate.
