This is the name of the dish we have chosen for you; Vegan Oat Waffles with Bananas.
The best thing about the waffles, however, is that they are not only delicious, but also healthy, because I completely abstained from sugar in the preparation. For my oat waffles, the sweetness comes from the bananas, which were not only behind as a topping but were also used directly in the dough. If you like it sweeter, you can also serve the finished waffles with some maple syrup.
Quantity: about 4-5 waffles
Ingredients
100 g of oatmeal
200 ml of oatmeal milk
1 banana
1-2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 dash of lemon juice
some oil or margarine for the waffle iron
Also: bananas and maple syrup as a topping
Vegan Oat Waffles with Bananas
Preparation
Purée the oats with a blender (or in a blender) until a kind of flour is formed. Stir with the oatmeal and let soak for about 15 minutes.
Now peel the banana and add it with a dash of lemon juice and the baking powder to the oatmeal and puree again. Thicken with 1-2 tablespoons of flour to form a viscous wafer dough.
The waffle iron and grease enter (depending on the size of the waffle iron) about 2 tablespoons of batter onto the plates and let the oats waffles bake for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with a few fresh slices of banana and some maple syrup.
