This is the name of the dish we have chosen for you; Vegan Blackbean Burger.
Ingredients
1 can of black beans
100 g oatmeal
1 tsp miso paste
200 g mushrooms
some thyme
1 white onion
salt
oil
a little butter
burger buns
2 slices of cheddar per burger
Dip
6EL ketchup
2 tablespoons Mayo
1/2 tsp. Mustard (if it’s not spicy, you can do more)
1 red onion
about 6 cornichons
Vegan Blackbean Burger
Preparation
Either prepare the buns or simply unpack them. Then dump the can of beans and wash it off once. Add together with the oatmeal, the miso paste, salt and thyme in a blender.
Chop the mushrooms and onions and sauté the mushrooms with a little butter. Just before they are ready, but already really nice brown and roasted, add the onions and sauté briefly. Put both in the blender. Then mix well, from the mass form the patties and fry crispy on both sides in oil. Since there is no egg or so it does not have to be through, here it is enough when it is warm and gets a nice crust.
Slice the white onion into half rings and simmer with a little butter in the pan until they are already brown. It takes some time and works best at 3/4 heat.
Cut one more onion for the sauce, cut the cornichons and mix both with ketchup, mustard and mayo. That’s it. Now you just have to assemble your burger.
