Unicorn Christmas Cookies with Nutella. If you also like Nutella, you will love the unicorn cookies. Have fun baking and even more fun while eating!
For the delicious and easy cookie dough you need the following.
70 g of powdered sugar
130 g room-warm butter
1 egg yolk
220 g of flour
Just knead all the ingredients together. I first kneaded with the hand mixer with dough hooks and then kneaded the rest with my hands. It’s much easier and more fun! Especially if the children help with baking.
Roll the dough into a thick ball. Wrap the dough in cling film. Then the dough can be left in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees convection.
And now it’s time to roll out and cut out. Dust your work surface with flour. The dough can now roll out well and then does not stick to the work surface. Roll out your dough with the rolling pin. If the dough sticks to the rolling pin, add some flour to the dough. So nothing sticks.
When you have rolled out the dough, you can use the unicorn cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits. You do that until nothing is left of the dough.
Lay the unicorns on a baking sheet with baking paper. And you’re off for about 10 minutes in the oven.
Let the cookies cool down well.
Then you split the biscuits. One half is decorated as a unicorn and the other half is later brushed with Nutella. The two halves are finally glued together and you have a unicorn biplane biscuit with Nutella filling. Yummy.
