This is the name of the dish we have chosen for you; Vegan Falafel Patties with Black Beans and Quinoa.
Falafel – my eternal love. It was so memorable that I got to work at home. This time I did not want the classic falafel balls, but something in the form of a patties. Since I still have so many black beans in the cupboard, they were consumed with the same time. The result is a really delicious, tasty dish that you can prepare very well. How it works? Ingredients
185 g cooked quinoa
240 g black beans – drained and washed, equivalent to a can or a glass before dripping
45 g oatmeal – gluten-free, ¼ cup, I mull this oatmeal in my food processor
16 g sunflower seeds
6 g garlic cloves – peeled or 1 teaspoon garlic granules
½ tsp sea salt
1 teaspoon cumin – ground
½ tsp coriander – ground
30 g of tomato paste
30 ml Tamari
1 bird eye chili or another chili powder at will
1 teaspoon nutrient yeast
FOR THE TAHINI SAUCE
120 g of Tahini
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp garlic granules or 1 clove garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
125 ml of warm water – more as needed
TO SERVE
Mixed – green salad
Cherry tomatoes – quartered
Milk fermented vegetables
Sunflower seeds
Hummus
Harissa
Fresh coriander or parsley
Vegan Falafel Patties with Black Beans and Quinoa
Preparation
Cook quinoa according to the packaging instructions and allow to cool (if not pre-cooked). Process oats into oatmeal in a high-performance mixer. Prepare Tahini Sauce and put aside. Preheat oven to 190 degrees and preheat a baking sheet with baking paper. Put all the ingredients for the falafel in a Food Processor and process into a uniform dough.Divide into 16 equal portions with a spoon, place on the baking tray and press a little flat to create patties.Put in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. After half of the time, ideally, turn around once in a while. Remove from the oven and serve with the desired side dishes or as a sandwich.
